Consumers are tech-savvy, digitally connected on multiple devices, and they demand innovation from all of their devices and products. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a reality for modern consumers, and business success depends on understanding their motivations and digital behaviors.
Visa Performance Solutions Latin American and the Caribbean recently hosted the session “Rethinking IoT from the Digital Consumer Perspective with Visa Big Data,” at the SAS Analytics Experience 2016–one of the world’s leading forums on analytics. The session highlighted how the power of Visa data can serve as a foundation to create actionable solutions, such as our “Digital Score” and “Digital DNA,” that reveal consumers’ digital spending patterns and spotlights the potential for engaging those consumers with data-driven marketing strategies using IoT.
Visa Performance Solutions LAC considers the IoT from a human-centered-design perspective. We can help you meet your customers’ needs by using two data-driven models: Visa Digital Score and Visa Digital DNA.
Visa Performance Solutions LAC can help you:
- Determine how to create and market products that appeal to cardholders
- Optimize your digital marketing strategy with a variety of solutions
- Understand how to deliver a great user experience across multiple channels and devices based on consumer behaviors
Digital Score and Digital DNA consulting engagement
The Visa Digital Score uses VisaNet data to provide issuers and merchants with a benchmarking score based on an analysis of their digital consumption. Issuers can use this data to compare their portfolio to the industry and understand if their cardholders are considered low, medium or high in the digital transaction space. Issuers can also identify spending gaps and develop products to meet cardholder needs.
Visa Digital DNA consulting engagement
A Visa Digital DNA engagement evaluates the volume of transactions each cardholders spends on a given merchant and reveals where cardholders are spending their money. The tool offers a ways to understand their cardholder preferences and identify merchants to partner with in order to further enhance their digital value proposition.
Together, the two models reveal consumers’ digital behaviors and show issuers how to engage those consumers with data-driven marketing strategies.
Visa’s Digital Leadership
Visa is committed to helping its customers innovate by sharing digital thought leadership in the marketplace and using our unique data assets to help them with powerful analytic solutions.
